       Seeds

Tropical seeds grow in pods on a variety of trees and shrubs indigenous to the Amazonian rainforest, the upland forests of the Andes region, and the humid Pacific and Caribbean coasts.

A number of pictures depicting the enormous variety of sizes, shapes, and colors of these seeds may be found on the website www.seedjewelry.org/seeds.html. This interesting website also contains dozens of photos of seeds jewelry.

The photos on this page will help you visualize the appearance and size of the seeds used in the jewelry we offer on this website. The names given are those used in Spanish-speaking South America (although they are not unique!) In each case, the seeds are listed beginning at the top-middle then in a clockwise direction.
